Meet Frankie the Frog Who Enjoys Nothing Better Than A Relaxing ESPA Facial at GREAT Beauty Rooms in Hoopers, Tunbridge Wells
So, I booked myself for a very rare treat today at the GREAT beauty rooms in Hoopers, Tunbridge Wells.
I’m not sure about you, but trying to find a spare hour in the day for some ‘me time’ can prove to be very difficult, however, I blocked this space out in my diary and promised myself not to move it.
I was greeted by my therapist Carol who guided me into the Beauty room. Her calm presence and the darkness o the room made me feel I was in for a treat.
With little knowledge of beauty treatments, I struggled to decide on what to have, but opted for an ESPA facial. I’d heard from close friends that a facial is super relaxing, yet not too intrusive.
Carol started off with a pretty in-depth consultation of my skin and asked about any problem areas I had on my face. She also asked what I wanted to achieve with the results of the facial.
Well, I am sure most of you ladies will answer similarly. I wanted younger, healthier-looking skin with a radiant glow, plus to look and feel like I have been on holiday the last few weeks and, if she can make the wrinkles and bags around my eyes disappear, even better! No pressure, but Carol will be my new best friend if she can achieve this in an hour!
Carol guided me through the facial with the steps she was taking, giving me small snippets of information on the products she was applying to my skin. When she said she was pressing apricot kernels into my skin, I was in heaven… sounds divine, right?
The ESPA Facial lasted one hour. My head felt clear, my shoulders were relaxed, my skin felt clean, fresh and deeply nourished.
I was offered a complimentary shampoo and blow dry in the hair salon too. But, being a frog, I have very little hair (!) and I wanted to keep the ESPA pink hair and scalp mud in overnight to get maximum results.
Will I be back again? Oh YES!!!
Would I recommend an ESPA Facial at the GREAT beauty rooms? Yes! I’d be crazy not to. It’s the perfect way to have some me time with the added bonus of it being only one hour out of my day.
New Year’s Resolution for 2017… Have some more me time!
