Pastel hair colours have been on our radar for a while now but there is one colour that continue to divide opinion and that colour is… grey/silver.
Fashion grey hair colours have been around now for about four years. Silver was first spotted on the fashion catwalks in 2010 before being adopted by the hippest celebrities and fashionistas.
There is no doubting that silver hair is a major fashion statement. It’s a real head-turner and is surprisingly flattering if you choose the right tone to suit your skin colouring and eye colour.
Your hair will need to be bleached to get it ready for the silver colour of your choice. Toners and semi-permanent colours can then be applied and there are plenty of hues on the grey spectrum from gun metal to the lightest silver, gentle blue and violet tones. Kelly Osbourne understands how versatile grey hair can be and she changes the tones regularly to achieve different looks.
Another great way to wear this grey fashion colour is to break up the colour with highlights. If you’re not quite ready for a block grey colour, why not add a few grey highlights to your usual hair colour like Kate Moss?
